Site Preparation and Development

Properly preparing a site for a new pavement is critical to the overall life of that pavement.

Site preparation typically consists of setting correct elevations, moving the earth, installing required drainage, and creating a solid foundation upon which to build the pavement.

Structurally, a properly graded site will ensure erosion control, meet local code and provide the necessary drainage control for the area.

Al Ramirez, with over 40 years in the asphalt industry, has managed Jennite’s site crews to complete recent work at Inverness Club, Pearson Park, and Oregon Medical Facility.
