Karl Litle, President
Karl Litle, President, has managed Jennite’s seal and crack filling crews for over 30 years. Karl prides himself on working hard and doing quality work – always doing a great job the first time. He believes in being on time, being prepared, and being a Team Player in everything he does. Karl’s mantra is “make it about others, and good things will come your way”. After hours, Karl enjoys all sports, shooting, and playing golf with his wife.
Tom Wheeler, Vice President and Owner
Tom Wheeler, Vice-President and Owner, is involved in the day to day field operations with Jennite’s various crews. Tom is the youngest of ten, growing up in this family business. Tom graduated from Central Catholic and University of Toledo. When not working, Tom enjoys bike riding and relaxing with family and friends.
Tom Walter, Residential Sales Manager
Tom Walter, Residential Sales Manager, has been with Jennite Company for 20 years. After graduating from the University of Toledo with a degree in Business Administration in 1984, Tom went to work in his family business. After the sale of the business in 2000, and with his diverse background in accounting and running a family firm, he came to work at Jennite Company. Outside of work, Tom is an avid runner, completing two marathons and numerous half marathons. He will soon be competing in his first half Ironman competition in late Summer of 2020.
Steve Dolgin, Project Manager and Estimator
Steve Dolgin, Project Manager and Estimator, has been with Jennite Company since 2013. Previously, Steve owned and ran Buckeye Asphalt Paving for 42 years. Starting in the late 60’s he has been involved in nearly every aspect of site construction from laborer, foreman, salesman, to Owner. Steve graduated from Ohio State University and has continued his education with adult classes at UT and pavement conferences around the country. In his spare time, Steve likes to play golf, play keyboard, travel, and spend time with his grand kids.
Kevin O'Connell
Kevin O’Connell, the newest member of the Jennite Team, has over 15 years of experience in all phases of the asphalt construction business. He began his career with the Jennite working summers through high school and college. He is proud to be fourth generation of management in the Jennite Company, upholding the values of integrity and honesty that this family business provides. Kevin is a graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School and the University of Dayton. Kevin and his wife, Molly, have three children, Charlie, Rory, and Maggie. In his free time, Kevin enjoys coaching his children in a variety of sports, and spending time with family and friends.
Melinda Restivo, Business Manager
Melinda Restivo, Business Manager Joined Jennite in September 2019. Graduating from University of Toledo with a degree in Business. Melinda has worked in both the Public and Private Sectors, and enjoys working for a local family business. When not working, Melinda enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and time at Lake Erie with family.
Lauren Cannavino, Office Manager
Lauren joined team Jennite in the summer of 2021. Originally from Cleveland, OH, Lauren graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s in Psychology. She truly enjoys working with others and getting to know them along the way. She has a passion for customer service and loves feeling like she can make a difference in someone’s day with a positive attitude and a friendly demeanor. Lauren enjoys working for a family business and finds it very rewarding. In her free time, Lauren enjoys swimming, yoga, taking her dog on walks, attending sporting events, and seeing live music.
